A lifelong advocate for women, Deb Wilkens-Costello, President of WomenVenture, holds a position that is the culmination of her life's work. For more than a quarter century prior to leading WomenVenture, Wilkens-Costello championed women and women's causes as the Executive Director of Family Tree Clinic; Chrysalis, A Center for Women; and the YMCA of Greater St. Paul.
As the President of WomenVenture, Wilkens-Costello and her team transform the lives of more than 3,000 women annually, offering them the tools and support they need to achieve economic success and prosperity through entrepreneurship, Career Building and transition, and financial education.
In addition to her experience in leadership, nonprofit development, community relations and fundraising, Deb Wilkens-Costello is a dedicated community leader and volunteer, spending her free time as she spends her work day at WomenVenture, ensuring women have every opportunity to be happy, healthy, successful and prosperous.
Wilkens-Costello graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education; and from the University of Minnesota, Hubert H. Humphrey Institute, with a Master of Public Affairs degree.
