Franchise Program

Ever thought about opening your own franchise? Find out if franchise ownership is for you, at WomenVenture!

Continuing our work to educate would-be small business owners, WomenVenture is piloting a comprehensive Franchise Education Program for entrepreneurs to evaluate franchising as a viable business opportunity.

Questions that will be covered in the class include:

  • determining your income requirements
  • retail sales versus performing a service
  • how many hours of work per week will be required
  • where will financing come from to purchase the franchise
  • royalty payments
  • whether to manage the business yourself or hire a manager
The core of the Franchise Education Program is a curriculum that is being developed by a leading group of franchise experts, executives and consultants. The Franchise Times book, “Guide to Selecting, Buying and Owning a Franchise” by Julie Bennett and John Hamburger will serve as the basis for the class.

Cost: $100.

New sessions will be starting in spring, 2010!

*** If you are interested in attending the class, please call WomenVenture at (651) 646-3808 to apply for the program. ***
