Award Nomination Criteria
Thank you for helping us in choosing our 2010 Pioneer, Unsung Hero and Lifetime Achievement award winners. Awards will be presented at our 15th Annual Fall Leadership Event on November 12, 2010.
The WomenVenture Awards are achievement awards that will be given to three recipients who have created economic opportunities for women in Minnesota, and who have demonstrated visionary qualities while blazing trails that leave a legacy of success for other women.
Please check the award category for which you are applying/nominating. Nominations are due by Wednesday, July 7th, 2010. Use this form.
- A contributor to the advancement or promotion of women’s economic prosperity, either through her significant individual contributions or her organization’s impact.
- A leader whose contributions have had a lasting impact on the financial welfare of women
- A catalyst demonstrating lifetime commitment to creating opportunity to helping women succeed.
The Pioneer Award recognizes an individual who has been:
- A trailblazer for women’s economic opportunities.
- Seen as a trailblazer, visionary, or legend in Minnesota for her or his efforts on behalf of women’s economic success.
The Unsung Hero Award recognizes an individual who has been:
- Involve in “behind-the-scenes work” over his or her lifetime to promote or provide economic opportunities for women in Minnesota.
- A born networker who has created relationships and strengthened women’s networking abilities.
