Women Can Do It! Path
If you're considering a career in construction, trades, manufacturing, energy process or information technology, this program is for you. It consists of:
- One-on-one job coaching, mock interviewing and job placement assistance.
- One of two of our work readiness courses: Winning in the Workplace or Get Hired.
- Increasing your financial skills and knowledge through the From Debt to Assets course.
- A full year of life coaching to help identify your goals and to keep you motivated and accountable.
- Networking with peers seeking non-traditional careers, successful women in non-traditional fields and Employer Partners.
- Math tutoring, as needed, to get up to speed with number basics and formulas.
- Scholarship opportunities for technical skills training.
Format: Classroom, small work groups, networking and one-on-one consulting.
Takeaways: You'll learn all of the soft skills needed to secure and maintain a job; access to and support during training and certification in your chosen field; and introductions to WomenVenture Employer Partners to help you search for and secure a job in your new field.
Length: One year.
Price: Free to women who meet the income guidelines and complete the enrollment process.
