Investing in Women Bankers' Breakfast
Community bankers are invited to a special breakfast on June 22 to learn how a partnership with WomenVenture will help your bank meet its Community Reinvestment Act requirements. The event will feature a presentation on predatory lending and how you can help small business owners avoid falling victim to these practices.
Elaine Wyatt, Executive Director for WomenVenture, will provide an overview of the organization and partnership opportunities.
Lance Knuckles, Community Development Officer, Community Reinvestment Fund, USA, will talk about predatory lending -- why online predatory lending is growing, why it's dangerous for borrowers, and what bankers can do to help.
