Biography

Addie studied finance and management with concentrations in leadership and entrepreneurship for her undergraduate degree and went on to get her master’s degree in business with a focus on global, social, and sustainable enterprise from Colorado State University. It was during these years that Addie learned about the start-up process and wrote multiple business plans, igniting a passion for entrepreneurship.

Before coming to WomenVenture, Addie was the business analyst for a solar energy developer where she worked with financiers to receive loans, and investors to purchase solar projects.

As the technology and data manager at WomenVenture, Addie is responsible for the oversight of the organization’s integrated technology, applications, and equipment. Her goal is to advance the organization’s technology to help WomenVenture’s mission of empowering women entrepreneurs. She feels honored to be part of such an impactful and passionate organization.

Outside of work, Addie enjoys trying new outdoor activities: She has recently begun mushroom foraging and apple pressing, snowboarding, reading, and cooking. She is also attempting to make her own kombucha and hopes that it doesn’t lead to all her glass bottles exploding (again).
