Diane has over 11 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and small business development. She got her start in accounting through the nonprofit sector canvassing door to door, bookkeeping, and serving on a collective for a small local organic produce food shelf. Since then, she has helped numerous small businesses develop their chart of accounts and advance their accounting procedures. She has a passion for sustainable practices, innovation, ecology, and community-driven efforts that make a difference in our world. No change is too big or too small!

Through MCTC she completed a certificate program achieving three certificates for Accounting Clerk, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, and Payroll Clerk. Always quick to learn new systems, Diane thrives on overcoming challenges and completing tedious busywork. She is thrilled to be part of WomenVenture and hopes to utilize her skills to help empower hundreds of business owners within our community. Her focus will include providing support to clients regarding recording, training, and reporting of their financial activities.

In her free time, Diane enjoys hiking through forested trails, kayaking the local riverways, trying new recipes for cooking and baking, traveling to new places, and spending time with her son. She also has a passion for arts and crafts as well as collecting music from all genres and time periods to create mixtapes on cassette. Currently, she is exploring house DIY projects and the best recipes for trail mix cookies
