Kaltrina manages Child Care Business Services serving both family child care and child care center owners. She has over eight years of international and local experience in development finance, nonprofit management, grant management, and business development.

Prior to her role at Women Venture, she worked with First Children’s Finance to design and implement innovative solutions in communities across Minnesota, empowering local entrepreneurs in starting and growing high quality child care programs. She is also the founding member of the Child Care Business Development Center. She has worked internationally in South East Europe with Small Enterprise Assistance Fund – Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development in providing business assistance and growth capital to enterprises in emerging economies.

Kaltrina holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Cornell College and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She enjoys taking Barre Yoga classes, traveling with her husband, and trying out different foods.

I played four different musical instruments in high school: guitar, harmonica, and ukulele
