Lisa Zellmer

Biography

Lisa manages corporate, foundation and government grants and partnerships supporting WomenVenture’s work. Most recently, she worked as a consultant strengthening nonprofits’ organizational and fundraising capacity to build community partnerships, increase board engagement and plan for diverse and sustainable funding streams. She has served as Development Director for two Twin Cities nonprofits, Prepare+Prosper and Stages Theatre Co, where she managed all aspects of fund development. Lisa has a BA from St. Olaf College, a MA in Public Affairs from the Humphrey School at the University of Minnesota.

Outside of work, Lisa spends time with family and friends trying new restaurants, going to movies or local arts venues, and traveling whenever possible.  She never gets tired of walking the Twin Cities lakes or better yet the lakes and trails in up north. She recently joined the boards of the Charities Review Council in St. Paul and ARCS Foundation Minnesota Chapter, two organizations she admires. 

Interesting Fact

My brothers taught me the alphabet backwards before forwards, so that’s a talent I still have.
