Tania New

Business Development Officer | tnew@womenventure.org

Tania’s interest in business started when she attended MN Business Venture camp in high school. She went on to earn her B.B.A in Marketing at the University of MN-Duluth. Her INROADS internship at Kraft Foods turned into a 17-year sales career where she relocated frequently. She worked on major brands such as Oscar Mayer and led sales teams for major retailers including Target. Tania credits her strategic capabilities, drive for results and executional excellence to her numerous roles on cross functional teams and the uncompromising Kraft Foods culture.

Following her corporate career, Tania took on a new challenge and became an entrepreneur. After completing a comprehensive due diligence process and finalizing a detailed business plan she invested in a residential cleaning service franchise. As an entrepreneur, she took on financial and career risk to organize and operate a business, allowing her to know first-hand the pleasures and pressures WomenVenture clients experience. Tania joined WomenVenture in 2019 to build sustainable client relationships by providing high quality counseling services.

Instinctively, Tania craves connection and community. She enjoys connecting people with resources and coaching others to reach their full potential. Before her recent return to her native Saint Paul she lived in Charlotte, NC where she coached high school girls basketball, provided business consulting services to female entrepreneurs and delivered meals weekly for Friendship Trays Inc. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, reading and all things related to personal growth. She is a self-appointed authority on hip-hop and loves music. She lives with her teenage son and their miniature schnauzer guard dog.
