Zoila Guachichulca

Zoila has a masters in international development from the University of Minnesota - Humphrey School of Public Affairs, with a concentration in program evaluation. Her research has primarily focused on poverty alleviation within struggling, marginalized communities. Her background lies in creating, developing, and implementing development programs to facilitate participants’ education and knowledge.

After earning her masters in international development, she went to Guatemala to evaluate their indigenous bilingual education system. After that she started working for the Latino Economic Development Center as a Job Counselor, and later as the Workforce Director. She has developed and conducted program theory evaluations, focus groups, interviews, logic models, and been responsible for the evaluation and monitoring workforce and adult education classes.

Now as the training specialist at WomenVenture, Zoila will be coordinating and communicating with clients who are interested in WomenVenture training classes. She also has the opportunity to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the training program.

In her free time, Zoila likes to go to the gym, play soccer, go fishing, and loves traveling.

Interesting Fact

I love to travel, my primary goal is to visit all the South American countries. I have been to Brazil, Peru, Colombia and Ecuador.
