Our Process

There are many pathways to entrepreneurship. We work with you to determine where you are on your journey and match you with the programs and services that will best meet your needs.

Do you have questions about owning a business? Attend one of our Entrepreneurship Information Sessions to learn about the programs and services we offer to women entrepreneurs. Or attend Getting Ready, a 3-part class that will help you determine if small business ownership is right for you.

If you’re ready to start a business or have recently started one, our Small Business Essentials course will cover all of the critical components you need to know to create and fine tune your business plan and launch or enhance your business.

Starting or owning a business can be expensive. That’s why we offer loans up to $50,000. We can provide working capital and funding for supplies, equipment, build outs, and other business needs. We also partner with banks to provide additional funding.

Small business owners often wear many hats – marketing, finance, operations, HR, and more. We offer monthly Lunch & Learn workshops on a wide variety of business topics to help you strengthen and expand your business. You can also get your questions answered and network with other entrepreneurs at our quarterly Business Advice Clinics.

Childcare Worker-Owned Cooperative

Are you interested in owning your own childcare business? Our new program, launching in 2018, will provide start-up business training and expert consultations, as well as support for launching a worker-owned co-op.
