Biography
Before joining WomenVenture as a Loan Officer, Hibaq worked at the African Development Center as a Programs Coordinator for Business Development and Housing. There, she supported entrepreneurs and families with the tools and resources they needed to build businesses and homeownership education, with a focus on community empowerment and cultural understanding.
At WomenVenture, she continues to advocate for economic equity by helping entrepreneurs access the capital and guidance they need to grow. She’s passionate about financial education, relationship-building, and creating pathways to opportunity, especially for communities who have had limited access to resources.
Her work is driven by a deep belief in the power of community, and she thrives when supporting others in reaching their goals. She’s an avid traveler with a goal of visiting as many countries as possible.
