When you sit down to talk with Kendra Wilson you notice things about her that are impossible to miss: her open, friendly manner, infectious laughter, and her concern for others. Even if you’re meeting her for the first time her attentiveness sets you at ease and establishes a lasting friendship. When the conversation turns to real estate, you quickly learn something else about Kendra: she’s a dedicated professional with a passion for helping others achieve the American Dream of home ownership.
After more than 15 years in human resources for a major wireless services provider (almost 20 years total in the industry), Kendra chose to follow her passion and pursue a career in real estate. She saw an opportunity to make a positive difference in peoples’ lives by providing her clients with quality real estate service. Her ability to find workable solutions to almost any situation combined with her extensive educational background are a distinct advantage in today’s competitive marketplace.
Kendra earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Belmont University and two master’s degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Business Administration (MBA) and in Organizational Management. She also has many years of entrepreneurial experience as the owner of a Tampa Bay area barber shop and hair salon for almost 10 years.
The hallmark of Kendra’s business philosophy is to ensure her clients understand their options, as well as the overall process of buying or selling a home in Florida. She stays abreast of current market trends and changes within the industry, sharpening her negotiating skills and learning the latest marketing and sales techniques. Kendra will also explain to you step-by-step what is being done to bring your transaction to a successful conclusion. No question is insignificant, according to Kendra. Her knowledge of the many fine new home communities available throughout the Tampa Bay area is further enhanced by her having earned the New Homes Specialist designation. “When clients select me to represent their real estate interests, I want there to be no doubt that their satisfaction is my top goal,” states Kendra. “I treat people the same way I would want my family to be treated—with respect and integrity.”
Providing this level of service requires more than an extensive knowledge of real estate; it takes a genuine concern for people and an unwavering dedication to helping others achieve their goals. It is what separates Kendra from the average agent. Kendra has received many accolades in the real estate industry that include the following: 2017 (Honor Society- Top 10% of 50k+ Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices agents nationwide), 2018- President’s Club (Top 5% of 50k+Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices agents nationwide), 2019 and 2020- Chairman’s Club Gold (Top 2% of 50k+ Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices agents nationwide), and most recently featured as one of Tampa Bay’s Top Agents in the Tampa Bay Business Journal (May 2021).
