Biography
Shannon brings over 25 years of experience spanning fundraising, nonprofit management, and strategic marketing and communications. She has served in executive and senior leadership roles across a wide range of mission-driven institutions — including Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities, Ridgeview Foundation, the Minnesota Zoo Foundation, and the YMCA. Shannon holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Augsburg University, grounding her leadership in a deep commitment to equity, human connection, and lasting impact.
Outside of work, Shannon enjoys yoga, travel, and time with her close-knit circle of family and friends. She and her husband share a love of adventure—motorcycling, biking, boating, and seeking out great cocktails and food. At home, their two oversized dogs, Two (Chocolate Lab) and Charlie (Great Dane), keep things lively. Above all, Shannon’s greatest pride is her daughter, Lauren, a passionate and dedicated midwife at the Minnesota Birth Center.
