Thank you to the St Paul Area Chamber for honoring WomenVenture with the Celebrate Service Award during the September 2026 Lunch with Leaders: Small Business & Entrepreneurship event!
The event reinforced that supporting small businesses isn’t the work of one organization. It takes a connected ecosystem of community champions making meaningful introductions, sharing resources, and celebrating one another’s success.
For nearly 50 years, WomenVenture has helped entrepreneurs build businesses and strengthen communities. For the past 25 years, we’ve also proudly served as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), providing access to technical assistance, education, and capital. We’re honored to receive the Service Award recognizing our contributions to St. Paul’s small business ecosystem. And it was especially meaningful to see our incredible client, Urban Growler Brewing Company, receive the Small Business Award!
Together, those recognitions illustrate the ecosystem at work: organizations like WomenVenture help create access and opportunity, while entrepreneurs like Urban Growler use those resources to build thriving businesses that contribute to the vitality of our community.
The strongest communities are those where businesses, entrepreneurs, and support organizations know one another, understand the resources available to them, and actively connect and support each other.
