WomenVenture’s YourVenture child care business training is a FREE course offered to licensed family child care providers in Minnesota offering business consulting, training, and financial tools to grow their businesses. Courses are held online and in-person.
Course Overview
For family childcare providers, detailed record keeping, on-going fiscal management, marketing, and parent engagement are important components to building and operating a sustainable business. However, these key business components are not always a provider’s primary focus. This training assists family childcare providers in creating strong business, marketing, and parent engagement practices so their business can thrive.
Program participation includes a stipend for financial management software, access to WomenVenture’s business consulting services, cohort meetings, and business focused workshops. This course is Developed approved and participants who complete the training are eligible for 4 training credits along with a stipend for financial management software.
YourVenture is made possible through funding from the State of Minnesota’s Department of Children, Youth, and Families.
