Designed to jump-start experienced women business owners who want to achieve exponential growth and create new jobs with average pay well above minimum wage, Scale Up! is an education and coaching program offered by WomenVenture, with the support of the MN Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).

The program centers on understanding and implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)® to improve business efficiency and effectiveness. Additional emphasis is placed on mastering financial efficiency, utilizing the Profit Mastery™ approach to financial analysis and decision-making, along with sessions devoted to leadership development. Finally, we create a robust, 12-month peer-coaching experience with the BWC; clients have the option of continuing with the circle into the future.

Program Outcomes

  • Create and present a multi-year plan for growth
  • Implement EOS® and Profit Mastery financial disciplines to create a solid foundation for growth
  • Identify, leverage and improve their leadership capabilities
  • Participate in a coaching circle with BWC for at least twelve months, establishing a trusted peer network for confidential exchange and accountability

Program Components

  • Twenty-two small-group (8 to 12 participants) classroom/workshop sessions delivered by qualified and certified facilitators
  • Twelve Coaching Circle sessions
  • Option to schedule up to eight hours of one-on-one coaching by one or more of the program facilitators, up to a maximum of four hours per facilitator
  • Leadership and business assessments using proven tools

From the start of the interview process, I could tell the instructors meant business,” says Bonnie. “They were fierce, but in a complimentary way! ScaleUp! is really well done. No matter what type of business you have—and there is quite a range—everyone benefits regardless."

Bonnie Vogel, Vogel Mechanical
