Deb Brown has over 20 years of combined experience in the areas of leadership, management, business, workforce development, program development, education, career training, professional development, and social services.  Her work is focused on business consulting, management consulting, program consulting, community outreach, training, and equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism.  

Deb has a Master's degree in Public Administration with concentrations in HR management and conflict resolution from Hamline University School of Business. She also has a Bachelor's degree in social work from Metropolitan State University. Deb is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), Empowerment/Emotional Intelligence (EI) Facilitator, and Project Management Scrum Master. Deb has been a trainer for over 15 years, is a serialsolopreneur who has initiated and managed several business incubator/startup projects, and has helped many individuals transform their lives through Personal Empowerment (PE) and Emotional Intelligence (EI). 

Deb joined WomenVenture because she strongly believes in and advocates for the mission and goals to help women entrepreneurs become more successful in business. Ms. Deb is a mother and grandmother who enjoys cooking New Orleans southern cuisine, baking cakes and pies to help the community, reading, nature, meditation, and cars. Deb is very passionate about Emotional Intelligence and Entrepreneurship. Deb has dreams of being on Shark Tank one day and is a long-time resident of St. Paul.
